Beautiful Day

We were expecting a huge thunderstorm today but a little rain shower seems to be all we will get. I love listening to it move through the trees. I would love to sit in the sun room with a cup of tea and read a book. Of course my sun room is wet and I do not have pretty wicker furniture to sit on and and no new prospects to read. I also have a few mommy chores to do. I am getting my hair done in a few hours. Time to hide the gray. I am ready for soccer to be done for a bit as well as football. DH has taken a hold of the checkbook, which has made me very happy, so I am trying to find cheap forms of entertainment. I have been catching up on my blogs. My blog choices are changing which I assume means my new life is taking hold. I do miss J.Crew a LOT!!!!! I must run and work on my mommy chores. Next week the Peppermint Dreams gets a makeover.

Mother Earth

I have not worked in the yard for a really long time. I have given that job to DH. This morning I have been transplanting some Hostas and ornamental grass from the back to the front. My back is sore but it is a good sore. I am no where near finished but I am making a dent. Eventually my yard will be beautiful. I wonder when I am done will I be satisfied? Next will be the herb garden and the back beds. yahoooo!

I have got to, got to, got to finish my family rules board. It is sitting in the living room mocking me every time I walk by. I think I will work on this as soon as I am finished. I have so many things on my plate. I seriously can do them all I must organize is all. When I finally finish my board I will post a picture. I am excited about this. I did not get to go on my scrapbook weekend and so I have an unfinished project.
