Where to begin. I have been wondering around without any directions for a very long time. I know where I want to go but....... I never seem to get there. A friend of mine spoke words of wisdom to me the other day. As a stay at home mom, I have a job, a responsibility to make sure home is where my family can relax and enjoy. Home must be their safe place. I am a horrible and I mean horrible housekeeper, but that is not fair to my loved ones. They all do their jobs to the best of their abilities. I on the other hand have been the biggest slacker. NO MORE!!!!!!
Here is the to do list for the day:
clean front part of the house
laundry {never ceasing huh }
bake banana bread
work on this blog and get the name out.
organize my jumbled mind and stay on track
fix all my financial issues {not really huge}
make a baking schedule
enjoy the season
I love this time of year. The weather here is cool but not artic. I love to plan. This year instead of concentrating on the things I can do for others I want to focus on what a wonderful gift the good Lord has given us all. Enjoying the sights, sounds and smells of Christmas is priority one. I keep thing back to the 40's and 50's. I am certainly in the wrong era. The songs make me wonder what it was like back then. Dreaming is another fantastic gift I give to myself. Hubby just phoned and will home for lunch. There is another gift. I will keep looking for unexpected gift. Have a wonderful day.
